Cabbage and Cheese Slaw

½ head green cabbage chopped about 6 cups

1- 8oz package shredded cheese

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper


Place cabbage in large bowl add mayonnaise and stir well. Add cheese (save a little for garnish), salt and pepper Stir well and refrigerate about 2 hours, top with remaining cheese and serve cold.

Rachel's Notes: I love this recipe be sure and use a good quality mayonnaise that you like since it gets the flavor mostly from the mayo salt and pepper, use your favorite cheese I like Cheddar cheese.
