Italian Beef Barley Soup

(adapted from allrecipes.com)

 

INGREDIENTS

* 2 pounds cubed beef chuck roast

* 5 cups water

* 1 cube beef bouillon, crumbled

* 1/2 onion, chopped

* 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

* 3/4 cup uncooked pearl barley

1/2 pkg Good Seasonings Dry Zesty Italian Dressing Mix

2 Cups Red Green and Yellow Bell Pepper chopped

 

DIRECTIONS

 

1. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients. You can add the whole pkg of dressing mix if needed

(it tends to get very salty)

2. Cover, and cook on Low for 5-8 hours.
